How do I use Uncle Johnny Delivers?

Uncle Johnny Delivers is a website connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants in the Steubenville and surrounding areas. Simply enter your address to view the list of restaurants available to you for delivery. You may then view menus, select your items of choice and add them to your shopping cart. Upon receiving your order, we will dispatch one of our independent contractor drivers to the restaurant and your order will be conveniently delivered to your home, workplace or hotel room. 

Is This A Side Gig For You Uncle Johnny?

Not at all my friend.  I am incorporated as an LLC in WV and licensed to do business in Ohio. We are fully insured and a member of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. Our office is located at 630 Market Street in Steubenville. 

Can I place my order over the phone?

No. All orders must be placed via the website. We are strictly an online business.  

Will you deliver from restaurants not listed on your site?

No. We will only deliver from the restaurants listed on our website. 

If a restaurant item is not listed on the site, is it still available for delivery?

No. Only the menu items you see on our website are available for delivery. 

Do you offer Pre Order for a specific time?

 We do not. Offering pre order leads to a high volume of orders due at the same time to various locations. This makes it very hard to maintain timely, quality service levels. When the site is closed, you will see PRE ORDER on our default screen. That is hard coded into the software and unfortunately, can not be changed at this time. Our software company hopes to be able to change this in the future. 

How long does it take to deliver?

Delivery times are typically between 30-60 minutes depending on time of day and distance from the restaurant.

Is there an order minimum?

Order minimums vary by restaurant and are typically between $10 to $20.

What should I do if my order is wrong?

Call us immediately at 740-632-5295. 

Should I tip my mobile waiter?

Our drivers are simply mobile waiters. STANDARD GRATUITY IS EXPECTED!! Drivers own their own cars and pay for fuel themselves. Without tipping our staff accordingly Uncle Johnny's has NO chance of being successful. If you want the convenience.. You have to be willing to pay for it!!

What forms of payments can I use and how can I pay?

You may pay online with a credit or debit card via our secure site. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. A $1 surcharge is applied to all cc/debit card orders. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS!!

  We also accept cash upon delivery.  Drivers carry limited cash to make change. PLEASE NO LARGE BILLS!! 

Should I be worried about paying with credit card online?

No, you shouldn't be worried about paying with credit or debit through our site. We use strong SSL encryption at checkout to ensure card and customer data is safe and secure. We are also fully compliant with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. 

Do you offer gift cards Uncle Johnny?

Yes. Please go to the top of our homepage and click the Gift Card tab. 

What is the delivery area you are servicing?

We service the Steubenville, Wintersville, Mingo, and Toronto areas in Ohio. We also cover Weirton and Follansbee areas in WV. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order that is too far. As a general rule we deliver up to a 10 mile radius. 

Do I need to have an account to order?

Yes. You will have to set up an account using your email address to place your first order. Your email address is NEVER sold to third parties for advertising purposes nor do we send marketing material to your email. 

Can I order from 2 restaurants at one time?

No. We deliver from one restaurant per order to ensure we keep a high level of service for our customers.

Who is Uncle Johnny?

I'm a life long resident of the Ohio Valley with a dream to own and operate my own business that benifits the great people of our area. I graduated from Weir High School and West Liberty University then set upon different career paths that gave me a solid business background. I've now set out to follow my dream by bringing excellent food from local resturants directly to your door.
